“Himamaylanong – Palangga ta kamo” 

Served as Sangguniang Panlungsod Member for three consecutive terms (2013 – 2022) until her election as City Vice Mayor in the synchronized national and local elections of 2022.  He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Vice Mayors’ League of the City of Himamaylan.Aside from being the presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, He is the co-chair of the City Mayor in the various local consultative councils. The Local Chief Executive tapped the City Vice Mayor’s extensive experience in local legislation and in private entrepreneurship.  Since his term as City Councilor, she is known to actively support resolutions and ordinances for the implementation of various programs of the city government on education, social welfare, tourism, livelihood generation and the promotion of local businesses. Spurred by his innate compassion for the poor and downtrodden, the Vice Mayor is using his office to promote good governance through transparency and accountability, honesty and integrity. His presidency of the Himamaylan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCII) promoted unity among the members of the local business sector and encouraged more investments into Himamaylan which helped pave the way for the then municipality of HImamaylan to qualify for conversion as a city in 2012. She led the organization in conducting business development seminars and trade related activities. He spearheaded its community involvement through various projects aimed at community development and job creation. In recognition of all her efforts for the development of local businesses, the distinct honor of being named Chairman-Emeritus of the HCCII was bestowed upon her after He was elected to the Sangguniang Panlungsod in 2013.
